With our remaining time in social science, we returned to focusing on our projects. 4th, 6th, and 7th hour students presented their projects while 8th and 9th hour students had a city-state project work day. Tomorrow and Thursday will be ACT ASPIRE testing - we will return to our normal schedule on Friday. Announcements / Upcoming Events
Today was an exciting day for us in social science! Mrs. Kim Sheahan of Spurlock Museum visited our classes and led students in the analysis of ancient Mesopotamian artifacts. Students also learned about cuneiform writing and had the opportunity to generate cuneiform writing for themselves using "clay" (play-dough) and a wooden stylus. For the rest of the week we will continue to study ancient Mesopotamian civilization and will begin working on our Mesopotamian city-state projects. Announcements / Upcoming Events
