Today we focused on what it means to be studying social science. Students discussed ancestors, oral history, and the importance of preserving history as a class. First period worked very quickly today and have already been introduced to the upcoming project: History of Me Project. In this project, students will be asked to create a timeline of their own lives including images and descriptions of important events. The rest of the students will begin this project tomorrow.
ANNOUNCEMENT: Directions for accessing textbooks online have been sent home with students. Signed course syllabus/expectation sheets were due today.
