Today in social science we began to prepare for the JMS 2014 Election and started to plan our Mesopotamian city-state projects.
Students learned about the importance of voting and who is eligible to vote. Students also discussed the gubernatorial race and the current candidates for Illinois Governor.
Following this, we began to discuss the expectations for the Mesopotamian city-state project. Students began to research and plan their city states independently. We will be working on our city-states all period in class tomorrow.
