Our Open House night was a success - it was great to see so many families participating in the event. Families got a chance to meet teachers, ask questions, learn about available resources, and get information on logging in to the Home Access Center to check student grades.
The second group of students attended the field trip to Spurlock Museum today and had an amazing time participating in activities and learning about mummies, Chinese oral history, and Greek plays.
In class, we have been studying latitude and longitude for the last two days. After learning about the latitude and longitude, students practiced applying the skill by finding coordinates on maps. We will wrap up latitude and longitude on Monday.
