Today the students began to take a closer look at what it means to study geography. After reviewing what they have learned about studying history, students took notes on physical and human geography, the relation between geography and history, and what geography can teach us.
On Friday, students will finish taking notes on the subject and will begin to apply their newly learned knowledge. They will choose to create a Venn diagram comparing either historians with archaeologists or physical geographers with cultural geographers. After creating their Venn diagrams, they will use these products to then write a job description for one of the professions. Details to come! NO SCHOOL THURSDAY
