Social science classes in every grade level took time to discuss the Constitution today in honor of this holiday.
Ms. Bezriadina's class focused specifically on the Bill of Rights. Student read the first five amendments in the Bill of Rights, engaged in a class discussion breaking down what these rights mean for students, and then rewrote the first five amendments in their own words.
Tomorrow, we will be looking at the 5 Themes of Geography and how they relate to life in Champaign, IL. Bring your thinking caps! :)
